This year’s Willamette River Festival opens with a PADDLE PARADE!
The parade starts at 10am on Sunday, August 27. Brazilian percussion ensemble Samba Ja will lead spectators to the top of Defazio Bridge to watch the parade and cheer for their favorite paddlers. Prizes and special awards for audience favorites will be announced later in the day from the festival mainstage.

Morning lineup and check-in will begin at 8am. The parade follows the river from Alton Baker Boat Ramp to Valley River Center. Thanks to City of Eugene Recreation for providing shuttle transportation from VRC!
