The AXÉ (ah-SHEH) Percussion Festival will bring together artists from Eugene and beyond for free interactive performances for all age groups and abilities at the Amazon Park on September 8, 2024. Come join the fun as performers share different percussion and dance styles.
The festival plans include

Repurposed materials drum crafting
Short educational talks
Fun in the park
Samba Já is organizing the festival and we are a local nonprofit that has been fostering community through drumming and cultural exchange for 20 years. The event is supported by the City of Eugene's Art in the Parks grant and will be put together by volunteers. Nevertheless, offering a great free community event is expensive and we can use your help!
